Research and apply for grants at all levels for OHE campus and PTA programs for the annual school year.

Description:
Works with the OHE Principal, Faculty/Staff and OHE PTA to identify funding sources (i.e. government, federal, local grant opportunities) that complement the campus’ needs. Once the campus needs are identified the writer will perform appropriate research, prepare & submit proposals and follow any special instructions provided by the funding source. All grant applications should be approved and signed by OHE Principal and PTA president (per Texas PTA).Writer must keep careful records and be able to follow up on any correspondence from the funding source and provide status updates to appropriate parties involved with Grant request.
Additional duties may include, and not limited to; working with OHE faculty to satisfy grant requirements and questions, working with the executive board, planning fund-raising campaigns, managing volunteers, and promoting the grant program through OHE publications. Reports to:
